A contractor you can trust Creating Space did a fantastic job finishing our basement. My wife and I were so pleased that we have made several referrals to friends since completion of the project. Instead of writing the entire story of our basement project I'm just going to provide a bulleted list of why we liked Todd and his team.

* honest - Their bid was very accurate and I felt very comfortable throughout the project despite my ignorance of construction.
* flexible - I lost my job in the middle of the project. Todd was understanding and paused until I could re-start the project.
* reliable - I cannot emphasize how important this is. Contractors are legendary for being unreliable but Creating Space was VERY reliable.
* workmanship - They didn't cut corners and when I pointed out issues they were quickly resolved.
* transparent - Very good at providing options and explaining the costs and benefits of each without being pushy. He even invited me to visit two basement projects in progress so that I could see his work before signing the contract.

As with all projects, the plans changed as we decided to upgrade certain elements (trey ceilings, crown moldings, wetbar, tile design) and scratch others (workout room remained unfinished). We even relocated the bathroom at the last minute! Todd did a great job of helping us to minimize the price impact by suggesting cost-effective options along the way. If I ever finish another basement I will definitely use Creating Space again.

We were very pleased with our basement remodel. Todd is very professional, did what he said he would do, and did a great job of communicating with us throughout the process. The quality of work was superb and we got a great value for the money spent.

One thing I especially appreciated was that Todd did not skimp on our allowances and his pricing on the invariable add-ons was reasonable. This sets him apart from any other contracting business we have worked with.
